Ring-spun cotton is spun with the fibres twisted and thinned before knitting. It costs more and it takes longer, and it is the reason a good tee feels smooth against the skin instead of coarse and papery.
The rest is quiet engineering: a pre-shrunk knit so the fit you buy is the fit you keep, shoulder-to-shoulder taping so the neckline holds its shape, and a soft-hand print that moves with the fabric rather than sitting on top of it like a plastic patch.

Four habits and this tee ages the way it is meant to — softer every wash, with the print fading gently instead of cracking off.
Wash cold, inside out
Cold water and an inside-out turn is most of the job. It protects the print and keeps the colour honest.
Tumble low or hang
High heat is what shortens a tee's life. Low and slow, or a hanger, and the fit stays where you left it.
No bleach, no softener
Bleach eats the print. Fabric softener coats the cotton and blunts the hand feel it was chosen for.
Iron around the print
If it needs pressing, iron on the reverse and keep the plate off the graphic.
Not if it is washed cold and inside out. The graphic is printed with a soft-hand finish that sits in the fabric rather than on top of it, so it flexes with the cotton and fades slowly and evenly instead of lifting at the edges.
The knit is pre-shrunk, so a cold wash and a low tumble should leave it where it started. Hot washes and high heat will pull any cotton tee in a little — that part is physics, not the garment.
Yes. It is cut as a unisex regular fit and sizes the same way for everyone. If you prefer a closer fit, take a size down; for a relaxed, oversized drape, take one up.
