What Are Prebiotics?

Blueberries are low in calories and contain high amounts of vitamin C, fiber, and phytochemicals (naturally occurring chemical compounds found in plants). Vitamin C and fiber are vital components of proper canine nutrition. Phytochemicals are linked to several aspects of health, including the ability to fight cancer in humans. Blueberries are also filled with antioxidants and have been shown to improve the health of animals, as well as humans.
Antioxidants, like those in blueberries, help fight free radicals, which are responsible for cellular and molecular damage in dogs and humans. As an added bonus, studies show that adding antioxidants to a dog’s diet reduces the effects of brain aging, which is great if you have a senior dog.

My dog Pepper loves the different Paw Power Dawg Butter flavors. I mostly give her the flavors with Pro/Pre-biotics and the Joint Support supplements included. Sometimes we do a little Pum'kin Puppers. I don't typically give it as a treat since she gets Biggie Bites and other assorted healthy dog snacks but, I will spread some on her dog cookies at times. With Dawg Butters, I like to add a good heaping scoop to her kibble on days I am adding her Fish Oil and Multi-Vit and I will usually throw in a few chunks of Desiccated Liver. Add a tiny splash of hot water and stir until fully mixed over low heat on the stove. The end result is a warm, Peanutty flavored super food that she will eat right up and lick the bowl clean! This also ensures she then takes a good drink of the clean spring water I give her. Pepper is 10 years old now and you wouldn't know it. She is young, spry and full of life. I attribute the use of healthy food products and clean water to this and Paw Power products have been a huge part of her diet for several years now.
This is a must have for simple rewarding treats. It’s a staple in the fridge for the pups.
Our German Shepherd is not a fan of peanut butter but man when I tell you I had to take the jar away from him! He loves this stuff!!
Being a Dog Mom and pet sitter I always have at least one canine companion at home And I always make sure to have some kind of power peanut butter around for the pups to enjoy in Kongs Or lick mats. They all love it! And being a jersey native, I’m even Happier to purchase it!
